High organization special forces with a minimum amphibious landing % effectiveness. At around 50% you negate the landing penalty. Designed for limited offensive operations, but mostly good org. If you are wealthy, and engineer vehicles for more stats. If you are really wealthy, the marines get much more HP as amtracs, which turn you into a bit of a monster even if you can't go full speed with this as amtracs get too many discounts, so it can be conditionally worth it.

Expensive version. Accidentally clicked the wrong grand doctrine for the cheap version, but it matters oddly little here. View template →

Amazing terrain bonuses, but there are very few areas where this works really well.

@123 Its oddly common in certain settings actually, as its common for naval invasions to target a specific hill tile due to it being in the line of fire of not one, but four angles you are allowed naval invade from. As such, a mountain marine unit is a generic special boy because its great at that one naval invasion that gets used in MP a bit.

@123 This site loading the design features seems to happen in a non-deterministic order. There seems to be a race condition at play where the tech tree loading can happen before/after the design and the end result is different, its like there isn't a fixed order of operations here.
