With a basic tank mio and an army spirit you can get the cost of the tanks to be about half as bad, making this only about 15% more expensive than your base template. You can bring the costs down even lower with a field hospital as 10% more HP is 9% less equipment lost, its not just a manpower savings.
Doctrines obviously scale with time, full impacts won't be felt but you can even get the organization of this variant to be high.
9% hardness, better air defenses, and I think the breakthrough speaks for itself. I'm assuming here that you have 0 intention of investing in an experimental land facility. (Plus support equipment researches and mechanized researches give mot hwc's a lot of extra free breakthrough, as does leveling your infantry eq.)
Funny enough, the new design here kinda accurately reflects real jp tank doctrine (Just missing the one medium tank to make this a space marine.)
