One funny thing with artillery is that you do have one small advantage: Self propelled support gives you an immense speed boost as a doctrine, and stacks with streamlined deployment. Its sort of the exact thing that turns destroyers insane in naval (One of the carrier doctrine options is, confusingly, actually a destroyer doctrine, the same is true in the subs line there though to which is hilarious.)

it's alright if it's fighting alongside batallions with high breakthrough, otherwise it's basically an expensive line arty. You could add 3 LMG for about 1ic more total, it would buff your SA by 3flat, which will then stack with the SPG buff, MIO buffs and general/advisor buffs
