Ultimate Qafar Safari

The casual 1941 offensive infantry masterpiece for when your OPM gets two land breakthrough points for flame tanks and military engineering vehicles. Aussa has the unique opprotunity to have both militia and irregulars in a division. You may be wondering... Why care? Irregulars provide some insane base terrain bonuses to divisions they are included in, the irregulars doctrine gives both militia and irregulars 1.6 combat width, and guerilla war gives you 1% eq capture ratio on all infantry. This army steals. So much gear. Its terrain bonuses are perfection. Its HP is the size of the galaxy. It will become veteran. Of course if you want to become this perfection you will need to get a land facility running as one of the smallest powers in the game. I chose irregulars over peoples militia because its more unique that you can both have irregulars terrain bonuses and militia together in one template in a division. This makes this build an Only Aussa special. Eventually you'd probably get all your AA from the landcruisers that are your destiny, I know its painful to wait for this, but that will come in time. They can't stop you.

su-76

It is an exceptionally reliable assault gun with good stats and a very low cost, allowing you to adequately equip your motorized or standard infantry divisions. However, its weak armor is its main drawback. It can effectively engage enemy medium tanks, albeit with higher losses.

commandos light AT 34w

Not for meta gameplay, just a test if the changes from individual excellence to commandos, alongside the regimental companies could create something interesting from a gameplay perspective. Like, could you use this and not feel disappointed. Commandos gives light infantry a % stat bonus from each regimental support included in a division, this is a unique bonus I thought was worth testing to try to create a unit. - Decent hard attack for the cost, able to break some armored units. The results kinda lukewarm if I'm being honest even using a +50% hard attack from infantry bonus. - Very high terrain bonuses for just bread and butter infantry, and high HP for low losses. - Passable but mediocre breakthrough. You could start causing pain anywhere and your opponent needs to consider this. - A supply use that can be summarized as "No." Overall this falls apart outside of green air, but all of the bonuses exploited here work for special forces too so the imagined use case is likely that you probably convert this to a cheaper defensive division, and use this vague format for a special forces unit whose intended use case is just to reverse traditional match-ups on most types of frontline terrain. The support tanks for breakthrough are an obvious element you might want to chop for cheaper equipment or resilience against air power.

So the challenge is to improve this design in a way anyone can not argue against.(I know a way). Full research, no doctorines.

(36w) Infantry Division, 1940 Tech, MTT Subdoctrine

Large 36 Combat Width Infantry Division with 1940s tech. Intended for industrialized nations with manpower but lacking research slots for Armored or Aviation technology. Mission Type Tactics Subdoctrine is applied (and mandatory) to keep infantry battalion organization high.

(36w) Infantry Division, 1940 Tech, LUT-FC-MTT Subdoctrine

Large 36 Combat Width Infantry Division with 1940s tech. Intended for industrialized nations with manpower but lacking research slots for Armored or Aviation technology. Large Unit Tactics, Fire Concentration and Mission Type Tactics Subdoctrine is applied. The reduced combat width of Infantry and Line Artillery allows 4 additional infantry Battalions to be added to the division for increased stats. This Division has 20,800 manpower, so losing one can be a significant loss for nations. A full army of 24 Divisions + the Army Headquarters of your general means a single army can be 500,000 manpower strong.

People told me my guns weren't heavy enough.

The guns are heavier and now even get more hardness than the last one. Like the last build, and the build someone made before this. It isn't practical probably. You get to chose what you do with your time. Just remember that only three nations can make this and none of them are really an industrial powerhouse.

Only Heavy Guns

I saw an artillery only build that had a disturbing number of machineguns in it so I decided to get rid of as much as I could that didn't look like it was a large caliber gun or a carrier for large caliber guns. You can triple the HP if you choose to be chillean, chineese, or italian while you do this. I feel like the suppression should probably be higher as if I was a civilian and I saw this I'd know today is not the day to go outside during.

Bizzare ~1940 Large Unit Tactics Offensive Infantry 32.5 width

Large Unit Tactics, Mobile Recon, Armored Spearhead, Your pick. A sort of Space Marine like assault infantry aiming to just reach peak hitpoints, match its soft attack equal with its breakthrough as closely as it possibly can, while keeping its org at an acceptable 48. Its also made to take advantage of large unit tactics experience loss scaling, this is to say, its about the race to veteran experience as fast as you can. Its made to use armor and breakthrough at high values for a raw naked infantry unit, while not getting so much hardness that it gets brittle and vulnerable to hard attacks stacking, or bad terrain modifiers Idea here is as follows: - With the new regimental tank destroyers we only need 10 TD's to be able to equip big anti tank guns, a motorized fire support group is the cheapest setup to get these. - 50 air attack pretty greatly reduces the CAS damage and red air penalties. So use motorized AA with two regimental AA to flyswat and also contribute to armor piercing. - Invest in a breakthrough medium flametank, light tank, and medium tank destroyer as we will be producing so little of each unit that the cost practically does not matter. - Peak breakthrough was astonishingly achieved with Mobile Recon and assault and NOT an artillery doctrine. Peak soft attack was on assault engineers to my surprise. - The support artillery arguably is not needed, if you really wanted to meme you could probably have this go in with a maintanance company and steal more equipment than it loses with how high its hitpoints stack. Or more realistically just go with logistics company to live. - Grand assault or infiltration tactics if you are a major and need to push, if a minor take a shot of whiskey because you can't afford this but if you are industry rich manpower weak maybe you can swing it with desperate defense, if you are manpower rich gear weak steal everything you need with guerilla warfare light infantry equipment capture rate except tanks (Make those.)
